Its stone fa\u00e7ade with its characteristic crenellated crown and massive bell tower give it the appearance of a fortress, reflecting the turbulent historical context in which it was built.<\/p><p>The main door, however, is an elegant contrast: built in Baroque style, it is richly decorated and is one of the most recognizable and photographed elements of the Cathedral.
