Famous for having hosted artists, actors, and international figures over time, the villa boasts a fascinating past. Until 2006, it belonged to Odd Godager, a Norwegian shipowner, who maintained it with great care. His close friend Øistein Thurman, a painter known for his contribution to Norwegian modernist abstract art, also lived nearby.Sara House has also been a film set for several films; the film Popcorn and Chips, starring Franco D'Angelo, was filmed here. Among the potential buyers for the villa was Ron Wood, legendary guitarist of the Rolling Stones. The deal fell through when the identity of the potential buyer was discovered, and the price was raised.

Today, Sara House is a private residence that discreetly opens its doors to a select number of guests. Currently available is an exclusive apartment overlooking the pool, with breathtaking sea views, perfect for relaxing immersed in the Sicilian light. The garden surrounding the villa is a true botanical jewel, cared for with love and respect for the environment. Among its wonders are majestic cycads, a towering dragon tree (Dracaena draco), and splendid flowering bougainvillea, whose vibrant colors frame the house and enhance its Mediterranean atmosphere.
